HIGHWAY 17 PART TWO
a punitive expedition is on its way to Little Odessa!
The outpost lead by commander Odessa is about to be hit by the army,says the radio. You have to drive along the coast surpassing the rebel convoys sent to intercept the enemy,trying to put down a lot of them before entering the city. A good way to do so is sneaking in with Snake's stealth and turn off the thumpers. Do not waste all your heavy machinegun ammo immediately,they will be much more useful spent later.

HIGHWAY 17 PART THREE
massive enemy forces have taken the second beach base,let's counterattack!
Don't rush in or you are dead meat: instead,use one of the forms main tactics (defense & explosives,stealth,attack,sniping) to bring down the heavily armored troops who are patrolling the area. You can use the wrecked cars both to take cover and to pick them up with the gravity gun and crash them on the combines. If you are fast enough and careful at driving,you can also skip the final confrontation with the gunship and head for the tunnel without stopping.

HIGHWAY 17 PART FOUR
the old Highway 17: where the world ended...
Make your way through piles of bodies when you are on the road and park your jeep in a tactical spot when you are forced to stop and fight in one of the stations,to be able and kill the combines with the gauss cannon mounted on the vehicle,which is strong and has unlimited ammo. In particular,don't get spotted by the assassins on the bridge with the containers on.

HIGHWAY 17 PART FIVE
final showdown at the car demolishes!
The hitmen at the car demolishes are powerful and vast in numbers,use your friends help to approach the site and then take cover to kill each of them separately. The strider is sleeping,until you get close enough that is.

HIGHWAY 17 PART SIX
the bridge to Nova Prospekt!
The assassins present on this bridge are very hard to take down if you get discovered by them: try killing them from afar,without them noticing. Search for rpg ammo on each level of the bridge's stations to kill the helicopters flying around.

HIGHWAY 17 PART SEVEN
you have been followed!
Without the combine securing the Highway 17,the monsters are back and they now menace your friends that helped you conquer the car demolisher's site. As before,use the cars with the gravity gun to smash the zombies. Or shoot at the explosive barrels with the M3.

SANDTRAPS PART ONE
security checkpoints ahead!
The enemy has set multiple checkpoints,each one strongly defended,to stop you from continuing your quest. You need your rebel commandos & vortigaunt friends' help to continue: fight hard,use the gauss cannon of the jeep and search for rpg rounds inside the houses. If you can,mine the final stage with proximity headcrabs and slams before the first dropship lands.

SANDTRAPS PART TWO
the armada wants to draw the line here,now!
Get all the allies you can with you and hide behind the buildings when the dropships land. Then,command them to go out and take the enemies: you can support them in a secondary position,with precise weapons.

SANDTRAPS PART THREE
don't step on the sand! It makes the antlions crazy.
Lead the 2 combines that have lost their vehicle through the antlions-ridden beach to the third beach base. But beware,their presence is much stronger now. There are 3 antlionguards to be fought in front of the base now: but if you kill the leader,the others will go down as well on the spot. Gordon is the best at this because of his HEV Shields which rend him invulnerable to melee attacks.

SANDTRAPS PART FOUR
the mighty walls of Nova Prospekt are crumbling!
You have an endless legions of bugs at your commands,much more than in the original HL2. And you can have more if you use the bugbait "Antlion Spawner" firemode! Those guards are already dead,but keep an eye for rpg rounds to take the helicopters down: bugs are like toys to them.
