The fighting is hard,but you should be able to snipe safely from far away without getting it much. At least if you don't jump in the middle of the fight with Liquid's vulcan!

ANTICITIZEN ONE PART THREE
backup is on its way!
The rebels have been stuck in this alley for hours and they have already suffered heavy losses: the fallen rise as zombies and combines keep coming. Hold them safe while the backup arrives to save you. Once the first battle is over,take cover behind corners to cheat enemy snipers trying to cap you from high grounds.

ANTICITIZEN ONE PART FOUR
it's the calm before the storm!
There are three major fights in this level: the one in the mined alley,where you cannot use explosives or the irifle because the combines are behind a fence (use machineguns); the battle with the strider and the incoming troops + minelayers (use the rpg); the attack on the police positions (use sniper weapons). Don't leave your friends behind,they will be very useful in the final one when you are low on health.

ANTICITIZEN ONE PART FIVE
the enemy troops are barricated themselves!
And well,so rejoyce with the rebels and organize a breakthrough in the building full of cops,to retrieve the rpg ammo necessary to bring down the gunship. Then,proceed in the second building and finally behind the enemy lines with some heavy machinegun power,switching to shotguns for short ranged combat. When you enter the last building,in the end,be very careful because the shotgun wielding enemies will mostly kill you in 2 fast consecutive hits.

ANTICITIZEN ONE PART SIX
can you hear this buzzing?
Following the fall of the beach defenses,antlions have invaded the City-17 perimeter and they are now colonizing the underground. Kill the antlionguard immediately,it's the only one of them that's really dangerous. The combines and the helicopter can be disposed off easily with the rpg,whose ammunitions are on the left in a lodge in the wall. The first fight with the manhacks is abolished,but the second one now requires you to fight them without any combine turret,just you normal weapons: use the gravity gun to pick them up to later smash them in the wall and protect your rebel friends for them to help you.

ANTICITIZEN ONE PART SEVEN
the rebels' headquarters are under attack,evacuate immediately!
terrain,airborne and armored troops are entering the apartment block from all the sides: arm your shotgun and be ready for some close encouter. Take advantage of windows and corners to snipe combines waiting for you in open areas below. The rpg ammo to take the helicopter down with are on the highest floor,brought there by the rebels. For the final combat scene in the ruined building,the best weapons to be used are jackhammers,the i-rifle,the flaregun and the chaff grenade.

ANTICITIZEN ONE PART EIGHT
Alyx is back!
First,equip your best damage dishers for the indoor figthing. Later,eliminate all the stalkers as fast as you can to protect you friends and grab the rpg ammo to kill the creature because it notices you are there. Build many traps to greet the incoming elites,don't let them advance. You can always go back to the entrance of the building you just came out of to take cover,pick up more allies or fight the invaders from a different angle. Remember,the combine energy balls shot by the elites will kill you on the spot.

ANTICITIZEN ONE PART NINE
back to the hygienic perils of the sewers!
Alyx and you got separated and now it's back to the zombies in the slime: no big deal,blow them up if you can or use melee attacks to save precious ammo. The fight in the factory is all another story: snipe around,use the help of vortigaunts and generally avoid letting the enemy take headshots on you or hit disintegrate you with a fatal energy ball hit. Snake's fortune device is useful in this situation to become invulnerable to bullets for a short time.

FOLLOW FREEMAN! PART ONE
City-17 was born in the streets!
Regroup and get to your best tactical asset quickly,an enemy crowd is approaching. The gravity gun and machineguns are the best for this stage,just take a lot of cover and do not rush in defenseless. The interior of the structure is everyday's work,but stay sharp with snipers who can kill you in one hit. To kill the parked strider,use i-rifle shots,the AWP or throw mines at it with the ggun.
